\n\t\t\t\t\t\tSince 2012, we have been implementing rural development projects with our dedicated local Lao team, whose deep understanding of the culture and communities ensures that our initiatives are relevant and effective.\n\nWe manage\/coordinate our projects from our head office in Vientiane and various branches in our target areas, which enable us to be even closer to the communities we serve with our work.\n\nTogether with our partners, we have successfully implemented 10 long-term projects and around 166 small-scale initiatives nationwide, as highlighted on the. We provide comprehensive vocational training programs to equip young individuals with practical skills in various trades, including carpentry, mechanics, tailoring, hairdressing, and electrical work. This empowers them to become successful entrepreneurs and contribute to their communities.<\/p>

Early Childhood Development:<\/strong> <\/span><\/h6>

We support early childhood education by training teachers in child-centered teaching methods. Our efforts include:<\/p>

Strengthening school management <\/strong><\/em><\/span>to ensure a quality-learning environment.<\/p>

As part of our child nutrition (lunch) programs, we support families in creating small-scale mixed farms and home gardens. These gardens allow families to grow a variety of crops, ensuring a steady supply of nutritious meals for their children. By empowering families to manage sustainable farms, we help promote healthy eating habits and long-term food security for the community.<\/p>

Empowering Youth through Animal Farming: <\/span><\/strong><\/h6>

We provide training programs for young people interested in animal farming, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge. Upon completing the training, these aspiring entrepreneurs receive start-up support in the form of chicks, kids (young goats), and fingerlings, enabling them to start their sustainable animal farming ventures and contribute to local economic growth.<\/p>

We provide training on child nutrition and healthy meal preparation for women to ensure that children in their communities grow up healthy and strong. By equipping mothers and caregivers with essential knowledge about balanced diets, we help combat malnutrition and support the overall well-being of families.<\/p>

Sustainable Agriculture: <\/span><\/strong><\/h6>

We train women in sustainable agricultural practices, including crop management, mixed farming techniques, and small-scale animal husbandry. These skills enhance food security for their families and open up economic opportunities by selling surplus produce.<\/p>

Financial Management: <\/span><\/strong><\/h6>

We empower women with basic financial literacy and management skills, enabling them to manage their household finances more effectively, start small businesses, and contribute to their communities’ economic development.
